The Lands and Natural Resources Minister, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh has sworn-in a new Chief Executive Officer of the Forestry Commission and a Board member of the Commission.
At a short ceremony in Accra on Monday, the Minister charged the newly sworn-in CEO, John Allotey and Paramount Chief of Alavanyo Traditional Area, Togbega Tsedze Atakora VII to be bold, forthright and work assiduously to uplift the Commission.
Mr Allotey was appointed after the former CEO, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie, popularly known as Sir John died of Covid-19 on July 1.
